Siri Michel, L.Ac., Dipl. OM, is an Acupuncturist and Herbalist licensed by the State of Illinois and board certified in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Siri completed her Master’s Degree at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she studied with some of the country’s leading professors and practitioners. She has more than 10 years of clinical experience in acupuncture, herbology and adjunct therapies including Tui Na massage, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, Eastern and Western nutrition, electric stimulation and auriculotherapy. Siri combines Traditional Eastern healing methods with a deep understanding of Western medicine, as well as the powerful influences of our daily environment on health.
Siri's journey into alternative medicine began in childhood, exploring remedies like herbal teas and natural oils for health. Introduced to acupuncture during her teenage years to alleviate back pain and menstrual discomfort, she later turned to acupuncture during challenging physical and emotional transitions in her thirties.
Inspired by the profound impact of acupuncture on her own healing journey, Siri pursued a career change post-divorce, becoming a licensed acupuncturist after completing her Master’s of Science in Traditional East Asian Medicine at Pacific College of Health Sciences in 2012. Dedicated to the transformative power of acupuncture, Siri is committed to helping others navigate and overcome various health challenges
